Washington Redskins 2014 lose their first game against the Houston Texans.

Redskins were no match for J.J. Watt

The game started with the Fox Commentators announcing that Washington Redskins Head Coach Jay Gruden wanders around the stadium before the game with "No Clue" of where he is.  They then stated that Gruden had to call a taxi to get back to his hotel room in Houston.  By the end of the game it was pretty clear that he still may not know where his is.  Hopefully he can remember that he was hired to be the Redskins Head Coach and they need some more offense and a lot of help on the Special Teams.

After a couple of 1st quarter empty possessions, the Redskins managed to hand it off to Full Back Mike Sellers for a second attempt touchdown.  This would be the first and last time that Skins could find the sacred sod. The extra point was then blocked by none other than Super Star Defensive Lineman J.J. Watt which set the course of the remainder of the game.  The Houston Texans took advantage of a defensive blown play as they answered with a 76 yard touchdown toss to DeAndre Hopkins. On the Redskins next drive punted the ball into the hand of Alfred Blue (block punt) and he returned it for a touchdown.

The Texans number one draft pick Jadeveon Clowney left the game with an leg injury and did not return.  This really was not a big deal since Watt made enough plays for the both of them.  The Washington Redskins have the play of RB Alfred Morris to hang their hat on as he racked up.  Ryan Kerrigan made a great play to try and keep the Redskins in the game by stripping Arian Foster inside the 10 yard line.  The Washington Redskins just could not seem to get anything going and QB Robert Griffin III seemed have half of the skill, half of the speed or his Rookie year and only scored in one half of the game.
